WordPress is a state-of-the-art publishing platform

WordPress is an Open Source project, which means there are hundreds of people all over the world working on it. (More than most commercial platforms.) It is clearly the best blogging engine I have ever tried. There are a lot of plugins and themes ready to use fro free as well. WordPress is widely use all over the world from personal blog, portal, e-commerce, community, company profile, classified ads, online magazines and newspapers or everything you want to publish your websites.

upcoming Wordpress 2.7 will be released by the end of November. As of today, the Wordpress 2.7 beta 3 has been released for your testing pleasure. There are many improvements and added many features with better for both back-end and front-end on the next version of WordPress 2.7.
